My Hipstar is drilled pin in the ring to provide a strong, continuous motion.
When looking for the mid-tier solid to balance under my Daze (now filled by the Swagger Bomb), I tested out the Hipstar. The ball rolls smoothly, with a controllable arc-ing motion, and hits extremely well.
This ball ended up pretty close to my Exodus G1, but the smooth shape might not move a lot for low rev players.
High rev players will find this to be a very good, budget option for a mid-range solid.

This ball I use for transition/pattern break down, it allows me to deal with the wet/dry and still strike.

This balls makes the pins flying around the deck with a lot of force. I use this ball as soon as the lanes breakdown to create the angle needed to carry corner pins.

This ball is smooth yet very strong.

This ball can be used inside or outside on heavy oil as well as deep inside as the lanes dry out.

If you can repeat shots this ball will treat you great.
It is not as strong as the Buzz Flip Le or the Fantasy Daze but is still very strong.

This would make for a great bench mark ball on heavy patterns, where if it's slightly not strong enough you go to your Daze and if the Hip Star is too strong you can move to your Graffit Pop/Yolo Rocks.

For the current price this ball is unbeatable.

This ball is a beast on burn or dry lanes. I shined it up and shot 300 and 810 for series last night. Even when it's shiny, it is very smooth and controllable. Then it retains energy very well for how smooth it is.

My favorite ball from calbowling so far. Gives me so much area to the left and right with still hitting hard. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a strong smooth symmetric. I've had a Vera Pappa 300 with back to back 270 games.

This is my number one ball in my Arsenal. The way it reads the lanes, breaks hard at the end, and carries the pins is tremendous. Ive never had a ball as consistent as this one. Ive had 5 700 series this year using this ball with an average of 210. 5 stars
