I've only thrown this for about 6 games in practice, but I am soooo glad I bought this ball. I needed a solid in my bag. everything I have is pearl or polished. I didn't want a big hooking solid and this was exactly what I Was looking for. Smooth, controllable and hits hard. It will more than likely be the first ball out of my bag, my benchmark ball. I've played this ball up 10 and out to the 4-5 area and it just holds, after the shot burned up, I played it standing on 25, over 20 and out to the 10-11 area and it hold there also, just a great overall ball.

This is my 2nd Black Pearl Hunter and it continues to exceed my initial expectations. This ball works so well on a THS as it is smooth without over reacting to friction. I drilled mine at 45X4X30 which keeps the ball clean through the front part of the lane and having a strong reaction down lane. I highly recommend this ball to anyone that is looking for that benchmark ball to have in their bag!

Arguably the best ball I have ever thrown. Have had it for 2 seasons now and struggle to put it down. Shot back 2 back 300s with it to close out the most recent summer season. This ball is a must have!

On a THS shot, this ball exceeded expectations. Very smooth, hard hitting and blends the wet/dry pattern of THS very, very well. Ball reacts to hand changes and surface changes very well. Is now my go to ball for THS shots. Ball is clean through the front and aggressive and controlled down lane reaction with a 40x4x40 layout.

After 2 weeks getting to know this ball and having pretty good success I bowled my first sanctioned 300 and 811. I am so impressed with this Company and the quality of the balls. Just bought a Royal Queen Pearl and a Strike Force Pearl for my son. I am sure they will both bring huge success. My new goal is to slowly replace all my balls with Cali.

My First Cali Ball and I LOVE it. 658 off the drill. Smooth, hits hard, carries light and moves so well. Hat it drilled pin up to move as a Sym to kill THS. So far I am hooked. In a few weeks once I know all the in's and out's will be hitting 700s, 800s and 300s.

Drilled this ball this weekend and what can I say besides it's my new favorite. It stores the energy through the heads and "fire the cannons" crushes the pins on the back end. This ball allowed me to swab the deck with my opponents tears this weekend shooting a 757 on a THS.
Was able to play it down 8 board pretty much all night long and it was fairly forgiving for those times I got a lil tug happy. Gotta get you one of these!

Maybe due to the layout I put on it, 55 x 3 3/8 x 55, but unless I put a lot of hand into it, the ball seems slow to react. I added surface to it, but haven't thrown it yet, with the added surface. I do like it and feel the ball will fit into my arsenal when nicely. Another great ball by this company!

I have this ball drilled smooth and arching. It doesn't disappoint. Hits like a Semi truck. Really nice and strong through the pins. Hardly leave any corners with this ball. Loving it.

I got this ball layout 75x5x20. This ball is a beast it allows me to open up the lanes. This ball rolls smooth with a great action into the pins.

This two-piece asym is a must have!! I have mine drilled "Stacked" and the ball is so smooth with a continuous roll through the pins. It hits hard but what is most impressive is the continuation through the pins. This ball WILL NOT disappoint, a must have!!!

I think this has to be my favorite ball so far from California Bowling. This ball hits like a truck and throws the pins everywhere on lite hits. I drilled mine at 60X3X40 to get some extra length and snap harder with more energy down the lane. I highly recommend this ball to anyone that is looking for that benchmark ball to have in their bag!

This is by far my favorite ball . The higher rg really helps store all the energy for the backend . This 2 piece core hits very hard . I’ll be purchasing another one of these soon .

At first I didn't really like the way it rolled for me, but I made a change in my finger inserts and now I like to use the hunter when my graffiti pearl is too aggressive. As long as I get the ball to the pocket it crushes and gives me great pin action.

Black Pearl Hunter is the cleanest Asymmetrical ball to date I've ever thrown that gets down lane storing energy. It's a very versatile ball on house and sport. Smooth off the spot for me. The 3 piece core allow the ball to shape while maintaining hit power. Surface friendly. The high rg of this ball gives it the length especially for the higher rev players so it get through the heads. May need tweaks for light oil patterns pending where you play.

Black pearl hunter means it is hunting the pins very versitle ball for 41 foot house shot. Pin in the ring finger gave me a look down lane that I was looking for in my arsenal, i give this ball a rating of 8 out of ten for me ,this ball is also a must have

This ball is the best on the market right now! I love that the ball is still rolling when it hits the pins. The strength and energy is like no other. If you are iffy on getting this ball just do it! You won’t regret it!

Very smooth and doesnt over react when it hits a dry board. I go to this ball when its too dry for my big bro. This ball hits like a mac truck! One of my favorites so far.

I don't even know what to say other than Get This Ball!! You won't regret it. I don't know what it is about this ball but it has a mind of its own and no matter where you put it it's going to strike. I love the way it rolls and makes its move. I have thrown this on heavy, medium, and light and it just works for me. The Hunter has to be the best ball on the market today. If your on the fence of getting it like I was. Just do it. Seriously you won't regret it.

Hands down the Best ball I have thrown since joining this great Company. I have no need for any other ball in my arsenal. The Hunter is my go to ball every time I hit the lanes. Ball packs a serious punch like nothing I have had before!!!! I highly recommend if you don't have this ball in your bag get it now.

I was very excited when this ball was announced. I've been waiting for a new asymmetrical solid. This one has met my expectations and then some. This 2 piece ball makes a turn and keeps charging through the pins. I used a 4x4x2 layout. For medium to heavy oil, this will be my ball of choice.

This ball is the most aggrisve ball I have in my bag. Got mine drilled up 85 X 4 1/4 X 35. This layout makes this ball flare and flip on back ends but still have the drive to mix the pins, throw messangers around and even just shoves all 10 pins through the back. This 2 piece asymmetric ball is a must to have for any bowler beginner to get the lenght or the 3 night a week 200 plus average bowler that wants the hook !!! Great ball to get for the new season
